A Masala Dabba or Spice Box is a convenient container in which to store your everyday spices for cooking delicious curries. After all, who wants to open 10 small spice containers to make a curry?!?
But how should you arrange the spices in your Masala Dabba? I've figured out a way that makes sense to me and helps me with my everyday cooking and I'm going to share it with you. I hope you find it helpful!
My method helps me estimate how much of the spice to add in my curry. Any spices I don't use everyday go into a separate container. Actually, I'll let you in on a little secret! I have two separate Masala Dabbas: one for my everyday spices and one for whole spices like cinnamon, cloves etc. and other spices I use fairly regularly but not as often as my everyday spices. I find this makes my life much easier!
So watch my video and see if this makes sense to you and arrange your Masala Dabba in the way that works best for you! (Click on the image below).
