I started Milhaan in 2018 because I love to cook and I love to feed people! If anyone comes over to visit, they won't leave without enjoying a home-cooked meal!

As a child, I watched my mother cook for our family and all the tenants that stayed with us. These were men that had moved to the UK from India, leaving their families behind, trying to make a better life for their family. I had a great role model to follow and started cooking from the age of 12!

 

Over the years, I have collected many tried and true recipes which I will share with you all. Many of my recipes come from my parents, friends and family, so I'll be featuring these people in my videos whenever possible. After all, credit should be given when due!

 

Along the road, I've found that having great kitchen tools makes cooking so much easier. I've spent lots of time & money to find the perfect tools and gadgets to cook with (my family keep telling me I have way too much stuff in my kitchen!). I wished that there was a place that I could get the best tried-and-tested tools sold by someone that actually cooks, so I will be sharing my favourites with you all.
